Spontaneity is defined as "an appropriate response to a new situation or a new response to an old situation". (J.L.Moreno, 1953). This is a way of creatively living in the moment and inspiring energy in our physical, mental and social relationships. It is the bedrock of psychodrama which is an action method of group and individual clinical intervention.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Trainer, Educator and Practitioner in Psychodrama and trained and skilled in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. The blend of these experiential, behavioral and cognitive methods are effective in counseling. I help clients build their skills in resilience to overcome problems with trauma, addictions, adjustment difficulties and struggles with depression and anxiety.
For over 40 years, I have provided these counseling services to children, youth, and adults in individual therapy, schools, hospitals, community programs, and outpatient services in PA and MD. In addition, I've also provided clinical supervision and conducted many presentations on various topics to community agencies, colleges, clinical personnel, and professionals.
I have relocated to the panhandle of WV to offer my counseling and training skills in outpatient and agency programs.
